What is KidtopiaPlay?

KidtopiaPlay is a curated gaming platform where kids can discover and explore free, open-source games in a safe environment. Every game on our platform is carefully selected to be age-appropriate, fun, and completely free to play.

We believe every kid deserves access to great games without paywalls, hidden costs, or invasive tracking. KidtopiaPlay brings together the best open-source games from around the world into one beautiful, easy-to-navigate experience.

How It Works

Browse: Explore games as interactive bubbles in our node graph, or use the genre filters to narrow down.
Discover: Click any bubble to learn about the game — its genre, age rating, and where to find it.
Play: Head to the game's website to start playing. Some games will be playable directly on KidtopiaPlay in the future!
Share: Found a game you love? Share it with friends using the share button.

Design

KidtopiaPlay's visual design is inspired by the Frutiger Aero aesthetic — glossy surfaces, translucent glass panels, vibrant nature-meets-technology colors, and playful bubble motifs. Built with Astro, React, D3.js, and TailwindCSS.
